Olympic distance (Normal – 1500m / 40K / 10K):

Sprint distance (Short – 750m / 23K / 5K):

Price: 750 NOK

Relay (team relay – 750m / 23K / 5K):

Form a team with your friends / colleagues. Relay teams may consist of only men / women or a mix.

Children Event:

Triathlon play for the youngest. A chance for those aged 6-12 years to familiarize themselves with triathlons at their own terms. Participate in all three sports and cross the finish line together with the grown-ups. Medal and prize bag to all participants.

About Oslo Triathlon:

Oslo Triathlon is the oldest triathlon in Norway and in 2017 we are proud to present the 35th edition.
The competition is organized by RYE sports association and arrangen in line with the club’s standards and values. Oslo Triathlon is equally suitable for newbies as experienced triathletes of all ages and sizes, but it is our goal to ensure that even elite athletes will get a challenge.
Saturday August 12th we offer two triathlon distances, sprint (short) and Olympic (normal distance), as well as Super Sprint aquathlon for those between 13-17 years and “Barnetri” activity. Arena and transitions zone is situated at the lower parking area by Sognsvann and swim start runs from the south end of the lake. Bicycle Track runs through scenic Maridalen via Carl Kjelsens Gate and turning point at Skar and second lap turing point at Brekke intersection (Olympic distance only). The roads are open to normal traffic and normal traffic rules apply, of all competitors are requested to pay close attention and exercise caution towards other road users. The running track is one outer loop around Sognsvann at 5K each, and two laps for Olympic distance. The competitions is non-drafting.
